Event Detail
Murphy's Summit
A documentary screening and post-film conversation with Vibhu Grover on friendship, endurance, and what remains when a mountain expedition starts to break apart.
Three friends set out to summit multiple 6,000-metre peaks in under ten days, carrying everything themselves and working without porters or a support crew.
Murphy's Summit is the film Vibhu Grover brought back. It is less interested in conquest than in the changing dynamics between people when weather turns, fatigue sets in, and the body refuses to cooperate.
The screening will be followed by an in-room conversation with Vibhu Grover, offering the kind of exchange that only happens when the filmmaker is present and the credits have just rolled.
Seats are limited to forty.
